For over two decades, Paul Parello’s Blues Power has been a torchbearer for authentic Chicago blues. The show began its journey in 1996 on Comcast Public Access Television in Chicago, offering intimate performances and interviews with legendary blues artists. It quickly became a cult favorite in the local scene, showcasing raw talent and preserving the electric soul of Chicago's music legacy.
The program later expanded into radio, airing on iconic stations like WJKL-FM and WRMN 1410 AM, with live broadcasts every Sunday night from 10 PM to midnight, also streaming online through ChicagoBluesMan.com. Blues Power earned acclaim not only for its musical depth but also for its dedication to community broadcasting—even winning a cable access award.
